If your thinking of learning the guitar then you probably have one of two reasons for wanting to do so. 1- you may just want to play along with yourself while you sing songs you really like and you may want to have the fun and night life that goes along with playing in a band. Practicing really is one of the last things you want to do because its boring and not fun.

2- you want to be as good as your favorite guitar players and know from the start that practicing everything from every free guitar chord chart, and scale chart you can get your hands on is the only way you ever have a chance at becoming as good as that favorite guitar player.

We usually start out resembling the first learner but then end up more resembling the second. You see yourself getting better and that makes you want to do better, you feel you can do better and that anyone who hear's you knows you can do better but of course that's not what their thinking at all.

Anyway the guitar is suited for either type of learner you are. It is one of the easiest instruments to goof up playing and one of the hardest to play good. Although I'm not so sure its the hardest to play well.

But who cares? If you only want to play with and make your favorite songs sound much better with accompaniment it doesn't really matter what standard you are. If your not trying to force some really bad music on someone else that is.

Anyway any time you practice at anything you want to accomplish you pretty much have no choice but to get better at it. The old saying practice really does make perfect is a true saying.

The guitar is no exception in order to get better or good you have to practice.

However only playing guitar when you sing songs you really like does count as practice and the good part is you can get pretty good playing along with your favorite songs with just a few chords and desire to learn rhythm guitar.

However if you want to become one of the best, practicing can become very boring and make you wonder what the point of it all is. So without further ado introducing the (Guitar Center!) Screamin' web only deals at GuitarCenter.com The place to find everything that makes learning fun.
