Going around the circle below clockwise takes us through the Dominant keys. The word Dominant refers to the 5th note of any Major & Minor Scale. Going around the circle counter-clockwise takes us through the Sub Dominant keys. Sub Dominant refers to the 4th note. Enharmonic means written differently as to notation but sounding the same.
