Free Guitar Scale Chart
Below is 5 positions in the Key Of F.
The rock scales shown below are found in five finger patterns. The black notes form the rock scales, add the red notes to form the blues scales. The patterns shown will match chord progressions in the key of "F". The notes are F, Ab, Bb, C and Eb creating a rock sound. ( The key of "F" will be used to fit the chord progression even though the notes suggest the key of Eb.) A three chord blues progression may be played by useing major scales one step lower or one and a half steps higher. The key of C would use a B flat scale or an E flat scale.
